De eerste theatervoorstellingen die ik maakte probeerde ik steevast uit in Theater de Bres.
Op 24 april speel ik mijn nieuwe voorstelling,
The Things I Never Told You, op stream vanuit deze mooie locatie.
Het voelt toch een beetje als thuiskomen.
Ik heb er zin in en hoop dat jullie er, via stream, bij aanwezig willen zijn!

In het huis op de hoek van onze oude straat woonde een oude man.
De dag voordat hij stierf vond ik een kartonnen doos met zijn meest waardevolle bezittingen op mijn deurmat.
Boeken, CD’s, cassettes, dvd’s en videobanden.
Werk waar ik nog nooit van had gehoord gemaakt door mensen die voor mij onbekend waren.
Ik wilde me erin verdiepen.
Ik wilde er meer over leren. Maar dat bleek onmogelijk. Alles was onherleidbaar.
Al het werk leek niet te bestaan….
‘The Things I Never Told You’ is een voorstelling over halve waarheden en hele leugens, identiteit,
obsessie, medicatie, angst en de dingen die je achterlaat.
Een voorstelling voorgelezen door een acteur die belooft dat geen woord gelogen zal zijn.
Hopelijk maakt belofte geen schuld….
De voorstelling is Nederlandstalig.
